Picture of Terry & Brianna Terry and Brianna Porfyris are the owners of Gabrielle Events. They are a husband and wife team who have relocated from New York to Tampa Bay. This is their story. Terry started working as a DJ in Queens, NY in 2001. He was 15 years old. His first gig was a holiday party for Saks Fifth Avenue. He immediately landed the account and became their DJ for all of their corporate events. From there, Terry also began training as a Wedding DJ, and started working for some of the major DJ entertainment brands all over Long Island and New York City. By 2005, Terry was a well versed and highly demanded DJ and MC for Weddings, Sweet 16s, Bar/Bat Mitzvah’s, Corporate Events and more. He continued working for these entertainment companies until his mid-twenties, and then decided it was time for him to be his own boss, and start his own company. Terry is the owner of Rhythm Artz Productions, a DJ entertainment company based in Long Island, NY. It is a brand he built from the ground up, using all of his skills and experience he acquired working all those years in the event industry. This company maintains a 5 star Google rating, and is the recommended DJ company for more than a dozen venues across Long Island and NYC. Services include: DJs, MCs, Lighting, Photo Booths, Wedding Officiants, Staging, Karaoke, Lounge décor, Flat screen display TVs and more. At the start of 2020, Rhythm Artz Productions was a thriving business, growing every day, and on its way to becoming one of New York’s best known DJ entertainment providers. The COVID 19 pandemic halted that dream. In an instant, Rhythm Artz Productions, just like thousands of other thriving businesses was forced to cease all operations. Eventually, as restrictions began to be lifted, Rhythm Artz rose from the ashes and was back in action. Terry and his team doubled down and came up with new creative ways to bring the business back to a level it had never known before. Currently, Rhythm Artz is once again a thriving DJ entertainment company serving the Long Island and NYC area. In late 2021, Terry and Brianna were newly married, and ran Rhythm Artz Productions together. Terry handled DJ entertainment and add-on services, while Brianna ran the Wedding Officiant division and also managed day to day operations. During that time, they had already had discussions about relocating to the South and expanding their business there. By January of 2022, they took a leap of faith and this wild idea became a reality. Terry and Brianna relocated to Florida, and started Gabrielle Events – a wedding and event company serving the Tampa Bay area.

Gabrielle Events offers a variety of event services, including: DJ Entertainment, Wedding Officiants, Photo Booths, Event Lighting and Décor, and more. They specialize in Weddings, but offer services for all other occasions as well, including Birthday Parties and Corporate Events. They cater to the client who just wants a fun DJ for a simple casual birthday party, and also the client who is planning a Wedding and needs a knowledgeable Wedding professional to help them customize the perfect package for them.
